Around the world...

I wish to travel around the world in the very near future. I haven't done a lot of travelling at this point in my life, at least not outside of Australia anyways. I've only ever travelled outside of Australia once and that was to Vietnam. I was only 10 back then. Once i get my studies out of the way, hopefully i will be able to go on an adventure around the world. The first place i would go to would be Vietnam of course. Being born in Australia and growing up as an Australian, there are times when i do feel out of touch with my Vietnamese culture. I think being a little older, and hopefully wiser, i want to properly embrace my culture and learn about my parents' birth country and the lifestyle within it.

Ho Chi Minh City

At the end of next year, after i finish my final year of university, i'm hoping to travel to Indonesia where one of my best friends is from. We have most of my trip planned out. I will stay over at her family's home in Jakata. She will show me around the city of course. A couple of days after we will head to a resort in Bali and forget about the world :D Sounds like a good plan.

Bali Four Seasons

England would be another place i would love to travel to. In particular, London and Liverpool i want to go to. London because...well it's London. Have to visit Buckingham Palace and Harrods of course :) As my favourite football team is Liverpool FC, i definately have to go to Liverpool and watch a premier league match. Walking across Abbey Road is also a must!

London

Russia. Perhaps an odd choice. I remember back in 2000 with the Olympics being held in Sydney, my primary school decided that for a term students should "be in a country". Instead of learning in our usual classes we got to pick a country that we wanted to learn about and stay in that country for a whole term. My first choice was Russia because my favourite teacher would be teaching that class. I don't know if it was because of that particular term "in Russia", but ever since i have had this affinity for the former Soviet state. I love learning about Russian history and i find it's political and economic scene very fascinating. I feel like it's one of those places i have to go to to see for myself the rich historical past and the current cultural life embedded in the country.

Moscow

There are many more places in the world that i would love to visit and i can only keep dreaming and working hard to fulfill this wish of mine :)
