Party in the USA
As I’ve said in my previous post, one of the many reasons I want to finish University fast is to travel. I’ve always liked that travel vibe you get when you try to reach out to understand more about new countries and customs. Well the place I’d really love to visit for a month of holiday after I finish Uni is none other than the land of liberty, USA. I’ve been to some parts of USA but I wish to visit them once again like Los Angeles since one of my best friends studies there. Her name’s Tiffany and we both had a common goal and that is to be done with studying as quickly as possible so that we can try to reach out other dreams in life. Tiffany and I promised to roam around USA since we were fourteen and I couldn’t wait to take on the ride with her.
Left to right: Me and Tiffany
First stop is Disneyland at Anaheim where the magic never stops, Disneyland is a place that fosters the memories and dreams of children and everyone else who had those dreams when they were little. It is truly a place of wonders! As childish as this is, I don’t think I would ever stop loving this place.

The second stop would be Los Angeles County Museum of Art which has the light installation of lampposts. I want to go there because it was the setting for one of my favourite movies, ‘No strings attached’ starring beautiful Natalie Portman (yes I’m her biggest fan) and Ashton Kutcher. In this scene Ashton tells Natalie he loves her and says she fights like a hamster. LOL.

Our third destination moves away from youth to full-fledged, Las Vegas. By next year I wouldn’t be legal but Vegas have more to offer than just casinos. It has beautiful hotels, extreme shows and dazzling light sceneries. I would just love to watch Cirque Du Soleil once more which is a circus show that is mysteriously alluring and whimsically captivating. Las Vegas buffets are also known for its cheap prices and delicious food. I can’t wait to try them!

If you’re in US there is just one stop that you wouldn’t possibly miss out on and that is New York City, as Alicia Keys described it as ‘concrete jungle where dreams are made of’. I imagine myself in the midst of the hustle and bustle roaming around the city. That energetic busy adrenaline you get from New-Yorkers, call me an adrenaline junkie or a weirdo but imagining all the busyness makes me feel excited. New York is truly a place where big dreams are made to come true. Also, shopping is a must in New York, Barney's and Macy's here I come. Moreover, I can’t wait to have a croissant and soy chai latte for breakfast in front of Tiffany’s while picturing Audrey Hepburn’s legendary Breakfast at Tiffany’s in my head. My obsession for the TV show series Gossip Girl would drive me up to the Upper East Side to see how the whole set really looks like. I simply cannot wait to wake up and see myself in New York. This may be the last destination for me in US but it’s definitely the most awaited for. I long to be inspired by the picturesque lights of the city at nighttime… and there’s just so much more I wish to see. In the meantime, I’ll just keep dreaming while listening to Jay Z and Alicia Keys song ‘Empire State of Mind’ :P
